NOTES FOR THE PERFORMER
This up-tempo minor blues for jazz big band was written on the occasion of the birth of Maria-Luce (Malu) Schelvis, April 26, 1983. This piece has ad lib solos for 2nd trumpet, 1st tenor saxophone and drums. Also there is a number of special choruses for saxophone section (5-part sectional harmony). The 5th trumpet part is optional.
