(2'10), Eb-F, 120 BPM, Pick Yourself Up, medium-up tempo swing, 66 mm. (1'30), F, 168 BPM, Yesterdays, ballad, 39 mm. (2'10), Dm, 60 BPM, All the Things You Are, allegro - medium swing, 34 mm. (1'00), Ab, 138 BPM, Long Ago and Far Away, latin, 88 mm. (2'00), F, 108 BPM (2/2). The medley is based on a number of songs by Jerome Kern. The instrumentation requires a concert band. This arrangement is of medium grade complexity. The rhythm section must contain a bass player, preferably on both string bass and bass guitar, and drum set. Guitar and piano/keyboard may be added for improved rhythmic support.
